THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - The president of the InternationalCriminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Theodor Meron,will officially visit Croatia next week at the invitation of theCroatian government, spokesman for
the Hague-based UN tribunal JimLandale said on Wednesday.
THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - The president of the International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Theodor Meron, will
officially visit Croatia next week at the invitation of the Croatian
government, spokesman for the Hague-based UN tribunal Jim Landale said on
Wednesday."The ICTY president, judge Theodor Meron, will officially visit Croatia
on November 4 and 5, at the invitation of the Croatian government. This will be
Meron's first official visit to Croatia," Landale told reporters in the
tribunal.
Meron is scheduled to submit a regular annual report on ICTY's work to
the UN Security Council on November 23. The report will also include his
assessment of Croatia's cooperation with the tribunal.
