Under the law, ICTY (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia) indictees and their families have the right to the state assistance in preparing their defence cases and financial monthly allowance. The law also stipulates that members of the families of ICTY indictees be compensated for travel expenses while visiting them in the Hague-based war crimes tribunal.
