The indictment, filed by Prosecutor John McNair, charges seven former high-ranking officials of undermining the territorial integrity and the defensive power of Bosnia-Herzegovina through their attempt to establish the Croat self-rule.
The principal defendant, Ante Jelavic, as well as the other six defendants earlier this week pleaded not guilty, Jelavic said that he had advocated nonviolent re-shaping of Bosnia and not its partition.
The HVDR-a of Herzeg-Bosnia on Friday issued a press release accusing the international community of launching "this rigged trial".
It also pointed the finger at the incumbent Croat officials in the Federation (the Croat-Muslim entity) and in state offices for not voicing their opposition to the trial.
