BELGRADE, Oct 15 (Hina) - Serbia and representatives of Serb
communities in south-eastern European countries must contribute to the regional
stability and assist in the process of European and EuroAtlantic integration,
and all war crimes indictees must be brought to justice, Serbia's President
Boris Tadic and his guests -- representatives of ethnic Serbs in Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia and Albania-- agreed at their
meeting in Belgrade on Friday."We also concluded that it is utterly unacceptable to bring into
question the statehood and legitimacy of states established in the last decade
of the 20th century," Tadic said after the meeting.
Tadic, among other things, also urged an accelerated resolution of the
problems of refugees and displaced persons.
Croatian Serbs were represented by the Independent Democratic Serb Party
(SDSS) chief Vojislav Stanimirovic, the Serb Democratic Forum leader Veljko
Dzakula, and SDSS member of the Croatian Parliament, Milorad Pupovac, who told
reporters that they had not discussed the position of the Serb minority in
Croatia but the role of minorities in inter-state cooperation and stabilisation
of this part of Europe.
