Separovic told Hina he brought part of Markac's medical records from The Hague last week and through Health Minister Andrija Hebrang delivered it to Croatian doctors. They will voice their opinion on the treatment the general is receiving in the Hague war crimes tribunal's detention unit, he added.
Separovic said the second opinion was not asked because of doubts in the doctors in The Hague but due to the fact despite numerous therapies, Markac's serious condition was not improving at all.
Separovic added that if the Croatian doctors evaluated that the current treatment was not appropriate, he might ask the doctors in The Hague to change the therapy.
