May 22-23.

attend an international conference due to take place on the northern

The Office of the Slovene President confirmed on Thursday that
Drnovsek would participate in the round-table discussion
"Confidence-Building in New Circumstances", organised by the Zaklada
2020 foundation, on Saturday, May 22. The Chairman of the Presidency
of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sulejman Tihic, and Montenegrin President Filip
Vujanovic are also expected to attend.
A meeting of the presidents of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro
and Slovenia is scheduled for Sunday, May 23.
The conference is also expected to be attended by the foreign
ministers of Austria, Croatia and Romania, business people and experts
in different areas.
The Zaklada 2020 foundation was established in early 2000 with the aim
of contributing to the development of Croatia as a modern democratic
European country over the next 20 years. In the autumn of 2001 it
appointed some 40 professionals and experts from different segments of
society to draw up development plans.
