"The consequence of improvisation in the senior and quasi-European
policy of Serbia's political leaders, notably in the choice od senior
officers and ministers, has met with warnings, first in Strasbourg and
now in Zagreb, which speak for themselves," said Lazo Vojnic Hajduk.
He was the only Croatian minority leader in Vojvodina to react to one
of the hottest topics in Serbia in the last couple of days -- Croatian
President Stjepan Mesic's statement that his Serbia-Montenegro
counterpart Svetozar Marovic is welcome in Croatia and reactions to
it.
Quoting local officials, some dailies have criticised Mesic's refusal
to say whether Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic is welcome in Croatia
too.
