ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Montenegrin Parliament President Ranko Krivokapic in Zagreb on Tuesday met Croatian parliament officials to discuss cooperation and the position of national minorities, read a statement issued by the Croatian
parliament's public relations office.

discuss cooperation and the position of national minorities, read a

Krivokapic is on an official three-day visit to Croatia. He held talks
with Croatian parliament vice president Luka Bebic. The two officials
said Croatia and Montenegro had joint interests in tourism, economy
and transport which was why cooperation was important.
Krivokapic informed Bebic of the political situation in Montenegro and
Bebic informed the Montenegrin official of the position of national
minorities in Croatia.
The Montenegrin also spoke with the chairman of the Croatian
parliamentary committee on interior affairs and national security,
Ivan Jarnjak.
Yesterday he held talks with Croatian President Stjepan Mesic,
Parliament President Vladimir Seks and other senior officials, the
statement said.
