Unknown youths are reportedly coming to the Roma settlements on the
outskirts of Zemun, threatening and physically assaulting them.
Speaking to Belgrade's Radio B92, a Roma from Zemun said on Friday on
condition of anonymity there was a secret organisation, called Grofas,
advocating an ethnically clean Zemun, without any ethnic minorities.
Radio B92 reporters visited the Roma settlements in Zemun and found
out that in the wake of the hate posters and increasingly frequent
incidents, the locals have organised night patrols while parents are
refusing to send their children to school.
The Zemun Roma settlements have about 2,000 inhabitants.
