Petritsch said Croatia's drawing closer to the EU would motivate
Bosnia to work harder to join European associations.
The European Union is drawing closer to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Petritsch
said. Slovenia is the first former Yugoslav republic which joined the
EU and Croatia received a positive signal from the EU, he added.
He said that the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton
Agreement would be in 2005 and in his opinion that would be a
favourable moment to transfer the presence of the international
community in Bosnia into the presence of the European Union.
