MacShane visited Sarajevo at the end of his tour of the region, which
also included Zagreb, Skoplje, Pristina and Belgrade.
The British official held talks with Bosnian Prime Minister Adnan
Terzic, Foreign Minister Mladen Ivanic and Defence Minister Nikola
Radovanovic.
I want to welcome the solid progress Bosnia-Herzegovina has made in
building bodies of state authority, especially in the area of defence,
MacShane said after meeting Radovanovic. He added that there was no
doubt that Bosnia was on the road to Euro-Atlantic associations, which
Great Britain supported.
