European Union by 2007.#L#
According to the message the government's public relations issued on
Saturday, Sanader believes that Croatia can prove that it deserves to
be admitted to the EU in 2007 and that the Union would be better and
greater with Croatia in its ranks.
"It is indisputable that the entire process of integration with the
EU, including the fulfillment of all political, legal, economic and
administrative conditions for the membership, is constantly developed.
The process of reforms on which Croatia has embarked is useful and
Croatia is carrying out them for its own benefit, for the
transformation of our social and economic system," Sanader said.
Reiterating that Croatia received the positive opinion of the European
Commission for its membership application last month, Sanader
commented on the May 1 enlargement of the European Union saying that
Croatia was particularly happy to see that among ten new EU members
there were its two neighbourings (Slovenia and Hungary).
