The event was held in New York on Thursday within a session of the UN
Commission for Sustainable Development. The conference called
"Consequences of Conflicts for Health and Environment" was organised
by a US nongovernmental organisation World Information Transfer (WIT),
and the Croatian government was a co-sponsor.
Ambassador Drobnjak, who was a co-chairman of the conference, spoke
about Croatia's experience in the management of post-conflict
situations.
