"If this project is successful, Zagreb may become a centre of
initiative in this part of Europe promoting small and medium-sized
enterprises and their adjustment to European standards," Sanader
said.
Cooperation between Croatia and UNIDO has so far mainly focused on the
environment.
Specific agreements were announced for June when Economy Minister
Branko Vukelic would visit UNIDO headquarters in Vienna. Sanader was
due to visit the organisation at the end of the year.
