PRISTINA, April 18 (Hina) - Four Jordanian police officers, members of the UN Police Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), have been arrested after an armed conflict in Kosovska Mitrovica on Saturday in which three persons were killed,

armed conflict in Kosovska Mitrovica on Saturday in which three

"Four Jordanians were detained yesterday after the incident and they
are in custody," U.N. Police Commissioner Stefan Feller
told a news conference in the provincial capital, Pristina, adding
that a request had been sent to the United Nations
in New York that the immunity of the Jordanian officers be lifted so
they could be investigated and interrogated.
Two American women prison officers and a Jordanian male were killed in
the gunbattle with U.S. police. A total of 11 police officers, 10
Americans and one Austrian, and were injured.
"We don't know the motive," Feller said.
"I have to say, this was a sad day for U.N. peacekeeping," Feller
said.
