ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - Croatia's commodity exports totalled 6.75 billion kuna, or US1.11 billion, in the first two months this year, while at the same its imports reached 13.12 billion kuna, or US2.16 billion, according to figures
from the National Statistics Office published on Friday.

The export-import ratio was 51.5 per cent, and the foreign trade
deficit was nearly 6.4 billion kuna, or US1.05 billion.
In kuna terms, Croatian exports decreased by 0.9 per cent compared to
the same period last year, while imports increased by 3.5 per cent. In
dollar terms, however, exports increased by 15.1 per cent and imports
by 20.1 per cent.
The difference was due to a 14% drop in the dollar's exchange rate
against the kuna from the first two months last year.
