Speaking at an electoral assembly of the DC Primorje-Gorski Kotar
County branch, Skare-Ozbolt said there was no need to fear the influx
of foreign capital in Croatia, but added that strategic companies and
the coastal area must not be sold without proper supervision and a
clearly defined privatisation strategy.
"The DC doesn't intend to be a major factor in Croatian politics but
does intend to be a considerable one," Skare-Ozbolt said.
She went on to say that the DC Rijeka branch had to intensify
activities in this northern Adriatic port in order to enter the city
council.
