sentenced a former member of the Serbian Interior Ministry's unit
Scorpions, Sasa Cvjetan, to 20 years in jail for war crimes against
civilians committed in Kosovo in 1999.#L#
The panel of judges presided by Biljana Sinanovic gave Cvjetan the
most severe sentence that could be given at the time the crime was
committed. Cvjetan was convicted of the murder of 14 persons and grave
wounding of another five in Podujevo in March 1999.
