ZAGREB, March 8 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Family and War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, on Monday met with several war veterans and members of their families, who informed her about the
problems they were encountering.

The minister said after the meeting that she would soon organise a
day-long meeting with war veterans as a large number of them had
numerous problems.
The government will discuss at its next session changes to the Law on
War Veterans' Rights regarding the harmonisation of war veterans'
pension allowances. The changes would be in force until a new law on
war veterans' rights is adopted, she said.
Kosor said she would meet for talks war veteran Zlatko Kramer who last
week caused an incident at the ministry sustaining light injuries when
security guards tried to remove him from the building.
The minister said she would not introduce stricter security measures
at the ministry because of the
incident.
She called for more human treatment of war veterans by all state
institutions.
