association and member of the presidency of the Croatian Peasant Party, Darko Grivicic.

opposes the cancellation of a ban on the import of beef from Austria
and Finland and is ready to stage protests if the ban is revoked, said
a vice-president of the association and member of the presidency of
the Croatian Peasant Party, Darko Grivicic.#L#
Grivicic considers it frivolous for the government to make cuts in
farming funds amounting to 200-300 million kuna and allow the import
of beef from countries where the mad cow disease was detected, with a
surplus of thousands of heads of cattle on the domestic market.
