In memory of their death, Sibinje residents celebrate February 19 as
Municipality and Local School Day.
Attending the ceremony was Croatian Parliament President Vladimir
Seks, who said the Sibinje victims, along with many others who were
killed in the 1920s and 1930s protesting against the then regime, had
been the pioneers of the fight for Croatia's freedom and social
justice.
