Under the project, over 600 houses of families that returned to the
area after the war have been reconstructed so far. In addition,
necessary food and hygienic items and other goods which returnees need
have been obtained through this programme for which the NGO has
earmarked some 2.1 million euros.
After touring the area Holscher said he was sure that the German
government would continue financing those projects.
The director of Adra Croatia, Tihomir Lipohar, said that in 2003 the
NGO had repaired 120 houses and was planning to repair an additional
120 this year.
