A spate of incidents targeted against Croats in Vojvodina has occurred
since last month's parliamentary elections in Serbia at which the
Radicals won the majority vote.
The fact that the perpetrators have not been found out and the
frequency and gravity of the incidents leave room for apprehension
that such incidents will continue to take place, Kovacevic said at a
ceremony marking the first anniversary of Hrvatska rijec, a
Croatian-language news magazine.
She went on to say that incidents against Croats caused great damage
to the Serbian people as well, and that she was publicly speaking
about this after yesterday handing a protest note to the Serbian
ambassador in Zagreb.
