ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - Croatia's parliament president, Vladimir Seks,
and Foreign Minister Vladimir Seks have been invited by the U.S.
Congress to attend a joint session of both houses of Congress on 20

address, the Croatian Sabor reported on Friday.#L#
The formal session of the both houses of Congress with the
President's address is held traditionally every year and is seen as
one of the most important political events in the Unites States.
Seks and Zuzul are the first senior Croatian officials to be invited
to such a session, and foreign officials are seldom invited. The
Croatian parliament described the invitation as great honour and
credit given to the president of the Sabor and the foreign minister as
well as an important moment in the context of the further development
of American-Croatian relations.
The trip to the United States will be Seks's first official travel
abroad since he became the parliament president.
