The Pristina-based Albanian-language daily "Koha Ditore" reported on
Sunday that the National Army of Montenegro demanded the solution of
the Albanian question, as well as that Albanian politicians in
Montenegro did not know anything about the group and did not attach
any importance to it.
On its web site, which resembles the web site of the Albanians of
Presevo, Kosovo and Macedonia, the group says that the Albanian
community in Montenegro and Serbia and Montenegro is discriminated
against.
The web site does not include information on the author of the
document or the group's seat.
"The Headquarters of the National Army of Montenegro believes that the
status of Albanians has been reduced to that of Gypsies in the
preamble of the Constitutional Charter of the pseudo-state of Serbia
and Montenegro, which was established on Albanian territory," the
group says, adding that Albanians are not advocating forcible changes
of borders, but do insist on their rights.
The group is also dissatisfied with the representation of the
interests of the Albanian community by ethnic Albanian politicians,
whom it considers servile.
