ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will visitLondon on Wednesday to attend a ceremony at which the EastWestInstitute will present British Prime Minister Tony Blair with theStatesman of the Decade Award, the Office of the Croatian Presidentreported on Tuesday. Mesic has been invited to the ceremony as aspecial guest.
ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will visit London on Wednesday to attend a ceremony at which the EastWest Institute will present British Prime Minister Tony Blair with the Statesman of the Decade Award, the Office of the Croatian President reported on Tuesday. Mesic has been invited to the ceremony as a special guest.

During his stay in London, Mesic will also meet British Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott.

Blair is the second recipient of the award. The EastWest Institute (EWI), founded in 1980 as a Euro-American institution, gave the first award to former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl after the unification of Germany.
