ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament has not received
from the government a formal request for the ratification of a bilateral
agreement with Austria on issues regarding compensation for seized property, an
unofficial source in parliament said on Tuesday. The government
must submit a bill for parliament to be able to ratify the agreement.
In late September, the government formulated a decision on launching
the signing of the agreement which also set up a Croatian delegation in charge
of negotiations on the agreement. The delegation is made up of representatives
of the ministries of justice, finance, and foreign affairs, and the State
Prosecutor's Office.
