ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on
Tuesday received credentials from ambassadors Patric McCabe of Ireland, Raymond
Merciec of Malta, and Olafur Davidsson of Iceland, Mesic's office said in a
press release. Willingness to continue developing bilateral
relations was confirmed in the separate meetings, and the ambassadors
underlined their countries' support to Croatia's accession to the European
Union.
The talks also addressed the situation in the wider region. The
ambassadors were interested in Mesic's opinion on possible developments in
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia-Montenegro as well as on the definition of the
future status of Kosovo.
