"The solution I propose would contribute to easing rather than aggravating the ethnic tensions. I think the present situation is dangerous. If there is no change, there is a greater likelihood of continued ethnic conflicts in Kosovo, which will be to the detriment of the Serb minority living there," the Slovene president said in an interview with state-run television broadcast late Thursday night.
The proposal is a part of the plan Drnovsek has put forward to the international community and it has drawn criticism from the Slovene government.
