Seks said parliament had adopted 157 laws to adjust to European legislation over the past four and a half years.
Speaking of negotiations on agriculture, he said Croatia would request long transitional periods and certain exemptions in order to protect its farm products. He added the most important thing now was to obtain non-repayable money from the pre-accession funds so that private farms could prepare themselves for competition on the European market.
