TALLINN, Nov 7 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader has
said that all provisions from the agreement between his ruling Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) are
being applied and will be honoured, but that SDSS representatives have to meet
their commitments too. Sanader was speaking to Croatian reporters in
Tallinn on Monday evening. He is officially visiting Estonia.
He said compliance with the agreement signed two years ago was no major
problem because the policy his cabinet advocated and implemented was one of
mutual understanding, tolerance and dialogue.
Sanader said relations in Croatian society and climate in the country
had changed for the better since the HDZ was in power.
The SDSS Executive Committee announced today that it would request the
Main Committee to rescind the cooperation agreement signed between SDSS members
of parliament and the government.
