BELGRADE, Nov 6 (Hina) - The state union of Serbia and Montenegro
and its member-republics, Serbia and Montenegro, will on Monday begin
negotiations with the European Union on a Stabilisation and Association
Agreement (SAA), which were officially launched on 10 October. The
negotiations will start in Belgrade with a meeting of the European Commission's
negotiating team, led by Reinhard Priebe, and Serbia and Montenegro's team,
led by Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic.
The main topics of the negotiations are the preamble to the SAA and
general political principles, regional cooperation and other forms of
cooperation.
On Tuesday, Priebe and the state union's Human and Minority Rights
Minister Rasim Ljajic will hold talks on Belgrade's cooperation with the
Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal.
