ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - The European Commission will on Wednesdaypublish regular annual reports on progress which candidate countries,Croatia Turkey, have made as well as on progress which countriescovered by the Stabilisation and
Accession process (SAp),Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia-Montenegro and Albania, have made.
ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - The European Commission will on Wednesday
publish regular annual reports on progress which candidate countries, Croatia
Turkey, have made as well as on progress which countries covered by the
Stabilisation and Accession process (SAp), Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Serbia-Montenegro and Albania, have made. The Commission is expected
to announce its avis on Macedonia's membership application also on
Wednesday
On Monday, Croatia and the EU will start the screening process, i.e an
in-depth analysis of the compatibility of Croatia's legislation in public
procurement with the EU acquis communautaire.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the screening will start for the fourth
chapter referring to market competition.
So far Croatia and the EU have started the screening process for
science and research and for education and culture.
