Djapic told Hina he informed von Habsburg that Osijek and Osijek-Baranja County would soon open an office in Brussels for economic lobbying and assistance in obtaining money from European Union preaccession funds, notably for agriculture and environmental protection.
According to Djapic, von Habsburg said he was willing to help in further activities related to Croatia's accession to the EU.
Von Habsburg also said Croatia must not miss the great opportunity to join the EU because it was in the interests of all citizens, and that Austria and Germany would help it in the process, said Djapic.
In the afternoon he, von Habsburg and von Habsburg's wife will attend a ceremony at the Hungarian Reformed Church in Kopacevo, which is marking its 200th anniversary.
Von Habsburg's visit to Osijek and Kopacevo was organised by the Democratic Community of Hungarians in Croatia.
