IlokILOK, Sept 30 (Hina) - Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Pal Csaky, who ison an official visit to Croatia, visited the eastern Croatian townIlok on Friday. The population of Ilok is 5,800 or whom 1,200 aremembers of the Slovak national

ILOK, Sept 30 (Hina) - Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Pal Csaky, who
is on an official visit to Croatia, visited the eastern Croatian town Ilok on
Friday. The population of Ilok is 5,800 or whom 1,200 are members of the
Slovak national minority. During talks with Ilok mayor Mladen Papak
and Vikovar-Srijem County prefect Antun Zagar, the Slovak official said his
country had been waiting for a long time for Croatia to join it in the European
Union.
Slovakia wants to see Croatia in the EU as soon as possible, Csaky
said.
Csaky also visit the Ilok elementary school and donated books in Sloak
to the school library.
He also met representatives of the Slovak minority in Ilok.
