Sisak tube rolling mill signs contract for exports to Qatar

ZAGREB, Sept 30 (Hina) - Sisak's tube rolling mill has signed a newcontract on the export of 2,500 tonnes of weldless tubes to Qatar andis completing negotiations on the production and export of 35,000tonnes of casing tubes at 3,000 tonnes per month, which makes use ofmore than 50 per cent of the current production capacities, CEO DamirBegovic said on Friday.
ZAGREB, Sept 30 (Hina) - Sisak's tube rolling mill has signed a new contract on the export of 2,500 tonnes of weldless tubes to Qatar and is completing negotiations on the production and export of 35,000 tonnes of casing tubes at 3,000 tonnes per month, which makes use of more than 50 per cent of the current production capacities, CEO Damir Begovic said on Friday.

Ninety per cent of the production is export-oriented and if the positive trend of returning on the world market continues, the annual export might reach 101-104 million euros in 18 to 20 months' time, said Begovic.

The new market strategy, oriented to markets outside Europe and cooperation with business partners in the distribution of tubes, has enables the rolling mill in Sisak to make a successful comeback on the world market after only three months of reviving production.
