The report includes 177 countries. The HDI measures average achievements in a country in three basic dimensions of development -- income per capita, life expectancy and education.
According to indicators referring to 2003, Croatians can expect to live 75 years, 98.1 percent of the adult population was literal and 75 percent had elementary, high school and university education and US$11,080 per capita measured by the purchasing power in the US dollar.
Norway is ranked 1st and Niger 177th.
