The meeting is attended by army chiefs of staff Miroslav Stojanovski of Macedonia, Josip Lucic of Croatia and Beljim Cazimi of Albania. The two-day event was opened by Macedonian Defence Minister Jovan Manasjevski. Addressing the participants, US Ambassador to Macedonia Julian Milovanovic stressed that the standpoint of Washington and Brussels was that each country should be evaluated according to its own merits in implementing reforms.
The meeting is also attended by representatives of NATO, the United States and the armed forces of Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro.
The meeting will end with the signing of a joint declaration.
