ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Association
of Nurses, Brankica Rimac, was elected to the leadership of the European
Federation of Nursing Associations (EFN) at a convention held in Athens last
week, the Croatian Association of Nurses reported on Monday. Rimac
was elected to the EFN executive committee. The EFN gathers nurse associations
from EU member countries, as well as from Norway, Switzerland and Croatia. It
was founded in 1971 and represents over one million nurses.
According to Rimac, Croatian nurses have the opportunity for the first
time to take part in decision making that affects the future of the nursing
profession.
