Micic said the estimates were based on some 800,000 registered beds, most of which were filled, and on unregistered tourist arrivals.
He added that this year would see a five-percent increase in tourist arrivals instead of the planned two percent.
Commenting on financial indicators, Micic said tourist revenue could be five percent higher than last year, when it amounted to 5.4 billion euros.
The expected revenue of six billion kuna would also depend of factors such as extra spending and the prolonging of the tourist season, Micic said.
In some Dalmatian counties the number of tourists is 20 percent higher than last year, he said.
Officials at the Croatian Tourism Office say the results of this season are excellent and that they exceed all expectations.
