Jandrokovic thanked the OSCE Mission on its successful work in Croatia and expressed hope cooperation in the future would be as good.
Fuentes said relations between the OSCE Mission and politicians in Croatia could not be any better and added that Croatia made significant progress over the last year and a half in a number of fields of the democratisation of society. He added that progress still needed to be made in the justice reforms and the return of refugees and that the refugee issue in Croatia would be entirely solved by the end of 2006.
The OSCE Mission head is convinced Croatia would soon launch its negotiations with the EU, saying that it would mean a lot for both Croatia and the EU.
Radin said that since 2000, Croatia had been marking a positive trend in the field of human rights, which meant that two different governments showed openness and will to understand minority issues. Radin said that problems today were different than those of the 1990s, adding that the major problem today was of an economic nature - securing livelihood for the returnees. He also underlined the problem of the Roma and their standard of living .
