Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic sent a letter to British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, and the British government and nation extending condolences on the victims of the London terrorist attack.
The ministry said that it was constantly in touch with the Croatian Embassy in the British capital which would give the ministry updates regarding possible Croatian casualties in the blasts in the London transport network.
Croatian Ambassador in London, Josko Paro, told Hina that all embassy staff arrived at work today and that the embassy was working regularly.
Several blasts ripped through London during rush hour on Thursday morning. According to the latest police reports at least 33 people were killed and scores of persons were injured.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair said immediately after the blasts that it was clearly visible that London was the target of a series of terrorist attacks.
