The memorandum was signed in December 2010 as part of negotiating positions for the policy area No. 26, Education and Culture, whereby Croatia assumed the obligation to join EU programmes in that area.
This year, EUR 1.8 million will be set aside for participation in said programmes, including EUR 470,000 from the Instrument of Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) programme.
The parliament adopted Interior Minister Tomislav Karamarko's report on police performance in 2009, and a report on the course of Croatia's European Union negotiations from 1 July to 31 December last year.
Also adopted was an annual 2009 report on Croatia's development aid abroad, which amounted to HRK 128.5 million, when Croatia sent aid to 30 countries.
The agenda of the parliament's 22nd session was extended to include 14 new motions, including the media committee's proposal of a list of 11 nominees for the national broadcaster's 11-member Programmes Council.
The parliament will reconvene next week.
