The Liberals believe that Croatia is well prepared for EU membership but it is important to realise the need for reforms and to continue implementing them even after the admission to the EU, the British MEP said.
Graham, who earlier in the day attended an international conference on contemporary liberalism and the EU, pointed out the importance of the reforms in the administration and judiciary.
Croatia will have to continue assuming responsibility for its future and I am certain that the Liberals, if included in the future government, will do it, he added.
The international conference on contemporary liberalism was organised by the Croatian People's Party (HNS) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
HNS president Radimir Cacic told reporters that he was sure that the conference was useful and interesting.
