ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Mondaysent a note of congratulation to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his electionas Iran's new president, Mesic's office said in a press release.
ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Monday sent a note of congratulation to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his election as Iran's new president, Mesic's office said in a press release.

"I am confident that under your leadership Iran will continue down the road of reform so that its role and great potentials can be fully appreciated," Mesic said in the note sent on his and Croatians' behalf.

Mesic also voiced confidence Croatia-Iran relations would continue to develop and improve in all areas of mutual interest.
