The decision on the postponement of the report was made today, according to the same source, who did not give the reasons for this decision.
According to previous announcements, del Ponte will on 6 June notify Jean Asselborn, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, which currently chairs the European Union, of the report. This can be seen as a possible reason for the postponement.
During a joint press conference which she held in in Zagreb together with Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, del Ponte said she believed the report would be published the next day.
The UN war crimes tribunal's Chief Prosecutor is expected to submit her regular semi-annual report on the performance of the ICTY and cooperation of countries with the UN court to the Security Council on 13 June.
