ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - The committee in charge of marking the 60thanniversary of victory of the anti-fascist coalition will send theministries of education and culture a request to revise historytextbooks and restore destroyed
monuments to anti-fascist fighters,Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks told reporters after a closed doorsession of the committee in Zagreb on Monday.
ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - The committee in charge of marking the
60th anniversary of victory of the anti-fascist coalition will send the
ministries of education and culture a request to revise history textbooks and
restore destroyed monuments to anti-fascist fighters, Parliament Speaker
Vladimir Seks told reporters after a closed door session of the committee in
Zagreb on Monday. Seks said that the 60th anniversary of victory of
anti-fascism would be marked with a reception to be attended by participants in
the National Liberation Struggle (NOB), government officials and parliamentary
deputies, who would be addressed by the parliament speaker.
He condemned the setting up of explosive devices in Vukovar and Trpinja
in the past two days, as well as all other crimes, and urged police and other
competent bodies to do all in their power to discover the perpetrators.
