BRUSSELS, May 23 (Hina) - The defence ministers of the EU Troika
in Brussels on Monday met representatives of European Union admission
candidates Croatia and Turkey as well as Iceland and Norway, two NATO members
outside the Union. Croatia was represented by Assistant Defence
Minister Igor Pokaz.
The Troika informed them of today's meeting of EU defence and foreign
ministers, who discussed Europe's defence and security policy.
The European ministers said they were satisfied with the Althea mission
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where on December 2 the EU took over peacekeeping from
NATO.
