The inspection will be carried out on land, at sea and in the air, in Montenegro today and on Tuesday, and in Croatia on Wednesday and Thursday.
The inspection of the demilitarised area on the Montenegrin side will be led by a Belgian Defence Ministry inspector, and the inspection of the Croatian side by an inspector from the German Defence Ministry.
The inspection is being carried out in line with a protocol on the temporary regime along the Croatian-Montenegrin border signed in 2002 by Croatia and the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The press release said that both countries met their commitments in the previous four inspections.
