ZAGREB/BRUSSLES, May 4 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Berislav
Roncevic and his counterparts from the countries signatories to the
US-Adriatic Charter signed a memorandum of understanding in NATO's headquarters
in Brussels on Wednesday. The memorandum binds Croatia to send four
doctors to the ISAF peace mission in Afghanistan as part of the joint
Croatia-Albanian-Macedonian team, Croatia Radio reported.
Later today, the Croatian minister is scheduled to meet NATO Secretary
General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer to discuss the strategic development of Croatia's
defence sector which includes the modernisation of all armed forces and
professional training of soldiers.
